4 people face charges, police anticipate further arrests
Four people have been charged, say Ontario Provincial Police in Haldimand/Norfolk, after a drug bust in Simcoe led to the recovery of fentanyl, cash, and stolen property.
After executing a search warrant on Wednesday, June 24 at an address on Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, police say they recovered 'suspected pink fentanyl' and a large amount of Canadian money and stolen property.
Six people were taken into custody, and four have been charged.
A 32-year-old Norfolk County man faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
A 42-year-old woman and 46-year-old man from Hamilton also face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
A 24-year-old Norfolk County woman has been charged with failing to comply with conditions of undertaking.
They will all appear in Simcoe's Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
