Halifax Regional Police believe the shooting&nbsp;in the parking lot of a Harvey's restaurant on Tuesday was a targeted incident.

Police responded to a report of a shooting on&nbsp;Kempt Road&nbsp;around 2:50 p.m.

Shots&nbsp;were fired between two vehicles before both fled&nbsp;the area, police said in a news release.

A truck was stopped by police on Purcells Cove Road&nbsp;where a man connected to the incident was arrested, police spokesman Const. Dylan Jackman&nbsp;said Wednesday.

A second suspect is still at large. Police believe the people involved in the shooting know one another.

It's unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting.

Police are turning to the public for tips on the shooting. Tips can be shared with police directly at&nbsp;&nbsp;
