LPGA to resume play with 2 tournaments in Ohio starting July 31

The LPGA Tour will return from its COVID-19 shutdown with two tournaments in Ohio, starting with the new Drive On Championship three-day event from July 31 to Aug. 2, officials said on Tuesday.

LPGA cancels Evian Championship major due to coronavirus

The LPGA Tour lost its first major because of the COVID-19 pandemic when it announced Tuesday the Evian Championship in France has been cancelled this year.

Canada's Brooke Henderson tied for 17th at the Evian Championship last year but won't have a chance to improve her standing this summer after the LPGA Tour cancelled the major scheduled to start Aug. 6 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
