Chants, hollers, clenched fists and signs took over the space at Gore Park on Saturday as Black Lives Matter demonstrators congregated to protest.
The rally at 1 p.m. saw more than 100 people assemble to call for an end to anti-black racism and partially defunding the local police budget.
The group eventually joined another large group of demonstrators at city hall.
