The Canadian Forces Snowbirds took to the skies over New Brunswick and Nova Scotia on Sunday.

The flight is part of a&nbsp;salute all Canadians doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19.&nbsp;

The nine jets took off in Greenwood, N.S., around 10:30 a.m., reaching&nbsp;Saint John around 10:40 a.m., and Fredericton by 11 a.m.

Saint John Mayor Don Darling posted a video of the snowbirds flying over the city on Sunday morning.

The Nova Scotia flyover started in Greenwood around 2:30 p.m., flying over Truro around 2:50 p.m., and then&nbsp;Halifax at about 3 p.m.
