Detectives in Niagara are searching for a stolen purebred donkey named "Royal Major League."
Niagara police say the four-year-old Mammoth Jackstock — a tall breed known for having "massive legs" and "especially" long ears(external link) — was used for breeding.
The donkey was stolen from a barn in Grimsby.
Now investigators are trying to find a 55-year-old woman wanted for theft over $5,000.
Police say they don't know where either the suspect or the donkey are. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 905-688-4111 ext. 5400.
