Throughout December, CBC stations across the East Coast helped to support local food banks through the CBC Warm Hearts campaign.
Part of this campaign is CBC PEI's Feed A Family. It helped to raise $64,772.85 and 2,550 turkeys were donated. The PEI Potato Farmers donated 10 lbs of potatoes for every turkey.
Charlottetown's Receiver Coffee contributed $10 from every bag of Island Morning Brew sold this holiday season and were able to provide $10,000 through this year's effort.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions.
