A lot of people in Hamilton had a thought or two about the idea that garbage pickup should be reduced to bi-weekly. We collected some of the posts to CBC Hamilton social media pages.
CBC Hamilton's Samantha Craggs reported this week that the city is tendering for a collector of Hamilton garbage from 2021 to 2028 and John-Paul Danko, Ward 8 (west Mountain) councillor, says that should include costing for a biweekly option too. Danko plans to introduce that idea on Nov. 18.
He says it would be cheaper and greener. Here's some of what you had to say.
