Feminist Toronto hip-hop group the Sorority just announced that their current tour will be their last.

"It's with bittersweet feeling in our hearts that we have all decided to focus our energies on our individual careers and make this current tour our last tour and the last chance to see us as the Sorority," members Haviah Mighty, Lex Leosis and Keysha Freshh wrote via Instagram.

They're currently performing with Snotty Nose Rez Kids on the Family Ties tour, with five shows remaining.

The three Sorority MCs met at an International Women's Day event, performing a fiery, all-female cypher that went viral. (At that time, the Sorority also included pHoenix Pagliacci.) They released their first studio album, Pledge, in 2018, and member Haviah Mighty won the 2019 Polaris Music Prize in September for her solo work.

While the Sorority's last shows are coming up in November in Vancouver, Victoria, Cumberland, B.C., Ottawa and Toronto, they ended their Instagram post with a reassuring call to sisterhood: "We'll continue to uplift support and love each other down this new path. Bonds like this never break. See you on the road. Love SRTY."
