WWE&nbsp;hall of famer Rocky Johnson has published a&nbsp;new memoir that touches on his early years in&nbsp;Nova Scotia.

The father of Dwayne (The Rock)&nbsp;Johnson left Amherst, N.S.,&nbsp;for Toronto when&nbsp;he was 14 years old.&nbsp;

His book, co-written by Scott Teal, details that journey and the years that followed as he went on to become the&nbsp;first black man to win the Southern, Georgia and Florida heavyweight titles.&nbsp;

Projects aimed at preventing sexual violence on N.S. campuses get funding

The initiatives include creating Student liaison positions on each university and college campus and developing a provincial conference for students to raise awareness and provide sexual violence prevention education.
