A federal party's president is among the challengers facing Liberal incumbent Chandra Arya(external link) in this suburban Ottawa riding.
Arya, formerly with Invest Ottawa, earned more than 52 per cent of the vote four years ago.
He's running for re-election against IT entrepreneur Zaff Ansari(external link) of the NDP; Green Party president Jean-Luc Cooke(external link), who also heads a Bells Corners community association; Azim Hooda(external link) of the People's Party; Conservative Brian St. Louis(external link), who worked in public affairs for a mineral development company that makes cleaner batteries; and University of Ottawa politics and economics student Dustan Wang(external link) of the Communist Party of Canada.
Candidates are included in this riding profile once they've been listed as a confirmed candidate(external link) by Elections Canada, chosen as the winner of a nomination contest(external link) or who were the chosen candidate by a party that got at least one per cent of the national popular vote in 2015.
