The southwest&nbsp;Winnipeg riding of Waverley is new, created in the 2018 riding redistribution from pieces of St. Norbert, Fort Whyte and Fort Richmond ridings.

The riding runs between Bishop Grandin Boulevard and city limits in the north, and the Perimeter Highway in the south. It's bounded by city limits to the west, and Pembina Highway, Bison Drive and Waverley Street in the east.

The riding includes the neighbourhoods of Waverley Heights, Waverley West and Bridgwater.

Among those residents, the leading language group is Mandarin (8.2 per cent of all residents) followed by Punjabi (3.9 per cent of all residents) and Cantonese (2.8 per cent of all residents).
