The Charlottetown Fire Department responded with three trucks to a fire call outside Superior Sanitation early Friday evening.&nbsp;

Charlottetown fire Inspector Kent Mitchell said the call came in around 5:30 and&nbsp;when firefighters arrived they&nbsp;"found multiple vehicles fully engulfed in flames."

Firefighters immediately&nbsp;started dousing the flames using a nearby hydrant and had vehicles moved away from the blaze.

"We got occupants in the building to move vehicles beside the vehicles&nbsp;involved out of the way so they wouldn't&nbsp;become involved in the fire as well," Mitchell said.

Mitchell said 12 firefighters responded to the scene and had the situation under control&nbsp;by around 6:30

Mitchell said no one was in immediate danger and that an&nbsp;investigation will begin soon.

Mitchell did not confirm how many trucks were lost in the fires.
