13-year-old cyclist dies of injuries from Orléans crash

13-year-old boy was hit on Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard during rush hour

A teen cyclist who was critically hurt in a collision with a vehicle on Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard late Tuesday afternoon has died.
It happened just before 5:30 p.m., near where the boulevard passes over Highway 174.
Paramedics said he was in cardiac arrest with significant blood loss when they arrived.
Police have not identified him, but said Wednesday morning he was a 13-year-old boy.
All roads closed for the investigation have reopened.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained on the scene and was co-operative with police.
No arrests have been made.
