Western P.E.I. road reopened following Saturday morning collision

Western Road along Route 2 between Howlan Road and Duvar Road has reopened after being closed Saturday morning due to a single vehicle crash.
The road was closed for about nine hours.
RCMP said they received a call about a single vehicle collision at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and closed the road shortly after.
The road was reopened at 2:40 p.m. RCMP said.
Police are not releasing any other details at this time.
