Student injured in Chatham-Kent bus crash

Driver of truck, 23, was from Chatham and charged with careless driving

One student has been treated in hospital for minor injuries following a crash involving a school bus on Chatham-Kent's east side.
Police say it happened around 3 p.m. Thursday in the Bothwell-area.
Authorities say the bus collided with a pick-up truck on Longwoods Road between West Bothwell Road and Zone Road 9.
The driver of the truck, a 23-year-old Chatham man, was charged with careless driving.
Police estimate the vehicles sustained about $45,000 in damage.
