A man is in critical condition&nbsp;following a stabbing in Winnipeg early Sunday morning.&nbsp;

Police were called to a hotel on Keewatin Street near Ross Avenue West at about 2 a.m.

There, they found a man with significant injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he remains.&nbsp;

The major crimes unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 204-986-6219&nbsp;or Crime Stoppers at&nbsp;204-786-8477.

Minivan still missing after arrest in St. Boniface attack and home invasion

Police are asking for help to find a vehicle stolen from a 73-year-old woman who was attacked with a weapon and robbed in the backyard of her St. Boniface home last Monday.

Winnipeg police say the vehicle should look something like this.

Head may be back, but police still looking for staff of statue at Winnipeg Ukrainian Catholic church

It may have its head back, but the statue of St. Volodymyr at the Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral of Sts. Vladimir and Olga is still missing its staff, and police are asking for help finding it.

The head cut off and stolen from a statue of St. Volodymyr at the Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral of Sts. Vladimir & Olga this week has been returned, but its staff, shown in this archival photo, is still missing. 

The Winnipeg Police Service's major crimes unit is investigating a stabbing at a hotel on Keewatin Street that happened early Sunday morning.
