Amm, who attends Appleby College in Oakville, Ont., wrote about the Cambridge Analytica scandal with Facebook from the perspective of The Tempest's Prospero.

We trusted our lives to these kings and queens.
Yet our outcome was something unseen
We thought these people would keep us our trust
Instead what we got a bond turned to dust
My betrayal has to have been my fall
My castle, my pride turned nothing at all
Thinking, "was I really that gullible?"
We thought our rights were untouchable
My patience is up and so is my rage
The trust of time has lost itself with age
You fools, you cheats, you bastards, you evil
Why do you need to stab with a needle?!
Oh, algorithm your hunger and greed
Is personal information your need?
Your hopes, dreams and needs are corrupt and cold
I wonder if rights are meant to be sold
The eighty million so sad and betrayed
The strife of life is what you will have payed
A rhino rolls over the birds that clean
Stealing a persons life is not mainstream!
What will be said with what happened today?
As the Face of Book turns his head away
Was this but an honest and true mistake?
Are these feelings genuine or are they fake?
But alas, maybe I should take pity
Maybe you just wanted to make life pretty
There is a human on the other side
That is no info that should ever hide
