A&nbsp;tractor in South Freetown, P.E.I., was&nbsp;completely destroyed after being engulfed in flames Friday morning.

Rodney Hickey, chief of the Kensington Fire Department, says the call came in&nbsp;close to noon on Friday.

Nearly a dozen firefighters spent about 40 minutes putting the fire out.&nbsp;RCMP were on scene as well.&nbsp;

Hickey says no one was injured in the fire.

Orientation day: MLAs to prepare for new roles in legislative assembly

Like many people entering a new job, P.E.I.'s 11 rookie MLAs will be taking part in orientation day at the provincial legislature Wednesday.

The P.E.I legislature as it used to be, without all the scaffolding.

The orientation day will allow newly elected MLAs to learn how things are run in the legislative assembly and offer them an opportunity to ask questions, says Joseph Jeffrey, clerk of the legislative assembly.
