Neighbour called police after hearing argument
A man accused of stabbing an acquaintance while they were drinking in the accused's apartment has been charged with manslaughter, Winnipeg police say.
Dustin Avrom Glow, 24, of Winnipeg remains in custody in connection with the stabbing in his apartment suite on Taylor Avenue early Sunday morning.
Police have also identified the victim Dylan Brian Hanchar, 24, of Winnipeg, the city's 14th homicide of 2019.
Police said the two men knew each other, and were drinking in Glow's apartment suite when they got into an argument.
Police said a neighbour heard the fight and called 911.
Police say that when officers arrived they found the two men alone inside the suite. They arrested Glow, and Hanchar was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his wounds.
