Many communities in the Ottawa-Gatineau region are at risk of flooding following heavy rain this weekend and high water levels on the Ottawa River.
River levels are expected to continue rising slowly, likely peaking Sunday evening.
They could hit levels seen in April 2017 — one month before the last time widespread floods hit the area.
This map shows some of the places that conservation authorities and municipal officials have flagged as being potentially at risk of flooding in the coming days.
It's not a comprehensive list, however. People living in flood-prone areas not marked on the map should still listen to local officials and take any necessary precautions.
