Saskatoon police investigating city's second homicide of 2019

Police were called to an alleyway behind the 100 block of Avenue Q South around 7 p.m. on Tuesday

Saskatoon's major crimes unit is looking into the city's second homicide of the year.
Police were called to an alley in the 100 block of Avenue Q S. around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
They located an injured 31-year-old man who was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police have identified "persons of interest," according to a news release issued on Wednesday.
Officers are still at scene of the shooting. There is also a police presence on the 200 block of Avenue S S.
Within the last five days, there have been three shootings and two assaults on police officers in Saskatoon, in addition to this latest homicide.
