Saskatoon police have arrested a man and charged him with three counts of assaulting a police officer.
On Monday afternoon, police were sent to a home on the 600 block of Confederation Drive to check on a 32-year-old man who may be a danger to himself and others, according to a news release.
Police, along with mobile crisis, found the man sitting in a truck several blocks away.
Officers said the man wouldn't listen to their orders and became agressive.
As they were arresting him, one officer was spat on and another suffered a broken hand, police said.
The injured officer was treated in hospital.
