Police in Saskatoon are looking for suspects after a man and a woman were shot in two separate incidents in the city over the weekend.
The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. CST on Friday in a parking lot in the 600 block of Confederation Drive, according to police.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, told police that a man approached her and tried to strike up a conversation. At some point, police reported the man became upset, pulled out a gun and shot the woman.
The woman was taken to hospital and is expected to recover from her injury.
Police said the suspect is about 6'3" and has two gold front teeth. He was dressed in a hoodie, pants and a hat, all grey in colour.

Victim runs to hospital

On Sunday around 1:30 a.m. CST, police received reports of a shooting near the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue R.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, had already made his way to nearby St. Paul's Hospital. He was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police said the victim ran there.
The man told police that he'd been walking when two men in black approached and he was shot.
Police said members of their Targeted Enforcement Section are investigating the incidents and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
