Or if you’re looking for a lighter option, go for a fresh fruit topping instead. However you choose to eat them, you’ll go bananas for these extra light and fluffy waffles!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, chopped
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Toppings:

  • Coconut whipped cream or vegan ice cream
  • Fruit
