Who says a smoothie can’t be dessert? And a healthy dessert, at that. Full of fresh mint, raw cacao and and fruit, this supercharged sipper promotes easy digestion and is packed with antioxidants. Plus, it still delivers enough chocolatey goodness to satisfy the strongest sweet tooth. Make it midday for a little afternoon boost or after dinner as a tasty treat that will become a family favourite!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh mint (or 1 tsp peppermint extract)
  • 3 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • Water to desired consistency

Place all ingredients into blender and process until smooth. Rim glass with coconut flakes, pour smoothie, then garnish with raw cacao nibs.
Yield: Makes 2 servings
