Temperatures expected to drop back down overnight
It's a mild 0 C start to the day, which means it's a real sloppy mess out there.
Give yourself time to navigate the ice, puddles and slush, with Wednesday's 25 centimetres of snow coated with overnight freezing rain.
It's expected to change to rain or snow by the afternoon all across the region.
Ottawa-Gatineau and Prescott-Russell's freezing rain warnings are over.
School buses are cancelled across eastern Ontario, with some exceptions, and we have the first widespread cancellations of the week in western Quebec.
It's right back into the cold stuff overnight, with a low of -12 C.
Friday's high bumps back up to -6 C, then temperatures will dip to about -22 C by Saturday morning.
We could be looking at more snow with seasonal conditions by Sunday.
