In just two and a half hours, $5,845 was raised for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region at the launch of CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's Sounds of the Season event Friday morning.
That works out to 17,535 meals.
The Morning Edition was live from TheMuseum in downtown Kitchener where more than 300 people joined host Craig Norris for a morning of music, good and guests. The campaign runs all month and you can still donate online.
