Two of the busiest shopping days of the year in Canada, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, may be in the rearview mirror, but make no mistake — we haven't seen the end of peak shopping season yet.
Retailers are still bombarding us with deals galore as hordes of shoppers keep searching for the right holiday presents for their loved ones.
However, some say it's time to go cold turkey on Christmas consumerism by adopting a minimalist lifestyle.
It's all about anti-clutter, giving away or recycling your stuff and the joyful art of tidying up as a path to deeper happiness.
Critics call minimalism a cult, but brands and marketers are also jumping on the bandwagon, trying to capitalize on the trend.
