A Calgary woman is counting her blessings after a close call on Crowchild Trail on Saturday.
Jennifer Partridge was driving northbound Crowchild Trail near the 17th Avenue S.W. turn-off Saturday morning to take her son to the Repsol Sports Centre, when a silver SUV came careening from the far left lane directly into the path of her car.
In a video captured on her dashcam, Partridge can be heard screaming "oh my God" as the two vehicles just miss one another.

She said her vehicle and one just to the left were seconds away from smashing into the SUV.
"It was going horizontally. So if we had hit it we would have T-boned the car … I completely panicked and hit the brakes," said Partridge.
"It was so scary … it's a miracle that neither of us hit this person."
Partridge's son called 911. The pair didn't stop for safety reasons on the 80-km/hr road, but they believe the other driver did not hit the sound wall and is OK.

'Was it speed? Was it just lack of winter tires?'

The driving conditions were deceptively bad that day, she said, adding that it's likely the other driver lost control on the curve.
A heavy snowfall on Friday caused slippery conditions across the city over the weekend, with officials cautioning motorists to drive to the conditions.
"It's hard to say, you know, was it speed? Was it just lack of winter tires?… But I did slow down right afterward," Partridge said.
