Ottawa police are investigating the shooting death of a man at the South Keys shopping complex.
Police say officers responded to several 911 calls about shots fired at the mall around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
A man was found in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, police say. He was transported to hospital and later died of his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Yonis Barkhadle of Ottawa.
Police say they are investigating this as a homicide, but no arrests have been made.
As of 8 p.m., the north end of the shopping centre — including the parking lot — was closed for the investigation.
