The LGBTQ and Trans flag crosswalks in front of Hamilton city hall will be maintained by TD Canada Trust for the next five years thanks to a $10,000 sponsorship agreement.
Beginning next month, the bank will begin caring for the crossings, which were added in August.
In recent months, black tire streaks have marred the rainbow paint job.

The agreement with TD, a longtime sponsor of Pride festivals and organizations across Canada, was announced Monday.
"We are thrilled with the tremendous generosity from TD in sponsoring our Trans flag and diversity rainbow crosswalks in front of City Hall," said Mayor Fred Eisenberger in a press release. "The City of Hamilton is proud to celebrate our diversity and these crosswalks remain a colourful reminder for visitors and residents that Hamilton is for all."
