Jean Cloutier re-elected in tight Alta Vista race

Jean Cloutier has been re-elected Alta Vista, with only 201 votes separating him from runner-up Raylene Lang-Dion.
With all 115 polls reporting, Cloutier secured 3,866 votes, or 32.8 per cent of the vote.
Lang-Dion secured 3,665 votes, or 31.1 per cent of the vote.
The results remain unofficial until the city clerk validates them, which is expected to happen by Thursday.
Cloutier was first elected in the ward in 2014.
The four other candidates were:

- Mike McHarg
- John Redins
