The main highway connecting Victoria with the rest of Vancouver Island was closed for hours Monday morning because of a rock slide.

Both lanes of the&nbsp;Malahat&nbsp;Highway&nbsp;had been closed&nbsp;at Tunnel Hill, south of&nbsp;Bamberton, because of the slide.
