It's election season and, after nearly a decade with Gregor Robertson, Vancouver will soon have a new mayor.

And a lot of people are vying for the job.

Election season is underway in all of B.C.'s 162 municipalities. Nominations officially opened on Monday.

An advanced poll station located inside Vancouver City Hall in the 2017 council byelection. The city will have 12 advanced voting locations open from Oct. 10 to 17.

Every week until the vote on Oct.&nbsp;20,
