CBC is heading to the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival and will be taking part in the festivities and sharing some of the sights and sounds as we explore the events and the city that brings this event to life each year. The festival takes place downtown Fredericton from Sept. 11 to 16.
East Coast Music Hour hits the streets of Fredericton
East Coast Music Hour host Bill Roach will take listeners on a musical journey of Fredericton with one of the people who knows it best, David Myles. Bill and David will be your tour guides as they explore the history, the hotspots and meet some of the hard-working people that shape the music of the city. All of this along with a lineup of music from Fredericton artists during this special broadcast. Hear it on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. (5:30 p.m. NT) on CBC Radio One. CBC Free Harvest
Free shows anyone? There are many to take in at Harvest and CBC will be part of the fun as we present two all-ages shows. Dub Antenna performs on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. and the Lawnchair Acoustic Blues show with Ian Janes, John Campbelljohn and Keith Hallett takes place on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. Both shows are in the Atlantic Lottery Barracks Tent.
