Ruck, Masse ready to lead Canada at Pan Pacific swim championships

In what will be a dress rehearsal for the 2020 Olympic Games, Canadians Taylor Ruck and Kylie Masse will look to build off the success they’ve generated over the last year. CBC Sports will have full live stream coverage of the event, which takes place Thursday through Sunday in Tokyo.

The quadrennial event, this time being held halfway between the Rio and Tokyo Olympics, features world swimming powers Australia and the United States and also includes other non-European countries such as Canada, Japan, China and several others.

Canadian stars Kylie Masse and Taylor Ruck are among the athletes competing.

The Pan Pacific Swimming Championships are one of the toughest swim meets in the 2018 calendar. They happen Aug. 9-12, and Canadians Taylor Ruck and Kylie Masse are looking to medal.
