Hamilton police are searching for a suspect after a woman was woken up Friday morning by a man sexually assaulting her.
Police said the suspect entered the victim's home — in the area of King Street West and Sterling Street — through a second storey window and proceeded to sexually assault the woman who was asleep at the time.
The woman woke up around 5:45 a.m. police said, adding that the suspect fled when the victim screamed for help.
While the victim could not obtain much of a description of the suspect, she recalled seeing the person wearing a dark or black hoodie over their head, police said.
