Mary Lawson is an acclaimed novelist who grew up in Blackwell, Ont. She published her debut book, Crow Lake, at the age of 55. It was a national bestseller and won the Amazon.ca First Novel Award. Her subsequent books include The Other Side of the Bridge, longlisted for the Man Booker Prize, and Road Ends, a finalist for the Folio Prize. She now lives in Kingston upon Thames in England.
