Incident stems from alleged assault at Massage Addict, but police say there could be others
A Calgary massage therapist faces sexual assault charges involving a client while working at a southeast massage franchise, although police say there could be incidents at up to three other businesses where the therapist worked.
Police say a 30-year-old woman showed up for her appointment at the Mahogany location of Ontario-based franchise Massage Addict on May 16.
While there, "the massage therapist allegedly sexually assaulted her throughout the course of her massage."
Greg Howden, 36, faces one count of sexual assault.
Police say Massage Addict owners have been helpful with the investigation and that they believe there may be other incidents at businesses including Montgomery Chiropractic Plus, RnR Wellness The Spa and Beddington Chiropractic Clinic, where Howden also worked.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or 911 if you have been sexually assaulted.
