A man in Red Deer, Alta., is facing four charges, accused of pointing an imitation firearm at several people at a car dealership earlier this week.
Police were called to the car dealership on 50 Avenue, in the south end of the city, about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday after staff members approached a suspicious male in the parking lot and he brandished what appeared to be a handgun, pointing it at them.
The man then fled to a nearby restaurant.
Officers arrived soon after and arrested the man without incident.
Police seized a weapon and determined that it was an imitation firearm.
