Retired Calgary doctor charged with sexual assault against patients

Neurologist Dr. Keith Mordin Hoyte, 71, accused of assaulting 3 patients

A retired doctor has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, Calgary police said in a release.
Police were contacted in January by a woman who reported she had been sexually touched without consent during an examination by a neurologist in 2007.
During the investigation police say they found two more historical cases with similar allegations against the same doctor, one in 2008 and one in 1991.
Dr. Keith Mordin Hoyte, 71, will appear in court on July 31 to face three counts of sexual assault.
Calgary police say they encourage anyone who has been sexually assaulted to report it, even if it occurred in the past.
