Andrew Pyper is one of Canada's most prolific and beloved thriller writers. Born in Stratford, Ont., he received a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature from McGill University, as well as a law degree from the University of Toronto.
Pyper is known for his bestselling spine-tingling novels like Lost Girls, which won the Arthur Ellis Award for best first novel in 2000, and The Demonologist. His most recent novel The Only Child tells the story of a psychiatrist in New York City, Dr. Lily Dominick, who is treating a patient who makes hard-to-believe claims: he's 200 years old, was the inspiration for writers like Bram Stoker and Mary Shelley and is Lily's father.
His latest novel is The Homecoming.
