Teenage girl charged in case of body found by burning vehicle near Drumheller

Remains of Fazal Rehman, 36, were found near Morrin last October

RCMP say a teenage girl has been charged in connection with the investigation into the death of a Calgary man whose body was found at the scene of a burning vehicle last fall in rural southern Alberta.
Fazal Rehman's remains were discovered on Oct. 16, 2017, in a rural area south of the village of Morrin, near Drumheller.
Rehman, 36, was also known by the name Afzad Rehman.
A week later, police arrested Dylan Donald Howard, 20, of Munson, Alta. He's been charged with first-degree murder.
On Tuesday, a 16-year-old girl was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of murder and attempting to obstruct justice, the RCMP Major Crimes Unit said in a release on Wednesday.
The teen cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
She was set to appear in provincial court in Calgary on Wednesday.
