Police say Opiny P'Ochieng was found dead around 3:40 a.m. Saturday
Ottawa police are investigating the city's 12th homicide of the year after a man was found dead Saturday morning in the city's south end.
Police said a man's body was discovered at around 3:40 a.m. near Russell Road and Southvale Crescent.
He was identified Sunday as 49-year-old Opiny P'Ochieng of Ottawa.
Russell Road between Southvale Crescent and Tupper Avenue was closed while police investigated.
