Gail Bowen among finalists for 2018 Arthur Ellis crime writing awards

Bestselling author Gail Bowen is among the writers shortlisted for the 2018 Arthur Ellis Awards, announced this week. Presented annually by the Crime Writers of Canada, the prizes recognize the best in Canadian crime writing from the past year.
The Crime Writers of Canada announced that Bowen is also the 2018 Grand Master winner for her "long and illustrious" career as a crime fiction author. The Grand Master award celebrates a Canadian crime writer with a substantial body of work who has garnered national and international recognition.
The winners of the 2018 Arthur Ellis Awards will be announced on May 24, 2018 at a gala event in Toronto.
