Brady Slade didn't come home Saturday evening, but has since been located
Police in Labrador West have found missing snowmobiler Brady Slade, after ramping up search efforts when he failed to come home Saturday evening.
The RNC said Slade was found in a warming hut after his snowmobile broke down in the backcountry.
Warming huts are rest stops along maintained snowmobile trails throughout the province.
Alarm was raised after Slade, 20, didn't materialize after heading out on his snowmobile at 6 p.m. Saturday
Ground search and rescue teams were deployed to find Slade, and the Iron Ore Company of Canada had dispatched a helicopter to aid in the search.
Slade was travelling on a VK 540 snowmobile.
