Canmore man dies after being pinned behind car he was working on

Police are asking for information from anyone who witnessed the incident
A man has died after being pinned behind an unmanned vehicle in Canmore, Alta.
On Friday at approximately 4:45 p.m., RCMP responded to a collision in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue, police said in a release.
A 48-year-old man had been working on a vehicle in a nearby garage. The car rolled across the alley, pinning the man between the car, a 1966 Chevrolet El Camino, and another vehicle parked in the alley.
The man was taken to Canmore Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
STARS air ambulance was originally called to the scene, but was called down as EMS arrived promptly, a STARS representative said.
The victim's family has been notified and his name will not be released, RCMP said.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision, and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call 403-678-5516.
