Team Canada&nbsp;— led by skip Brad&nbsp;Gushue and including Islander&nbsp;Brett Gallant&nbsp;— is&nbsp;getting ready for a fourth game at the world men's curling championship in Las Vegas.

They will be up against Italy at 5:30 p.m. AT.

Team Canada beat Russia in the opening match-up of the tournament on Saturday before losing to Scotland.

On Sunday, the team rebounded with a 7-2 victory over the Swiss.

A victory over Italy would give Canada three wins going into Tuesday matches with&nbsp;Korea and Japan.

Canada wraps up round-robin action against Germany on Friday.

UPEI students put their taste to the test in food lab

It's mid-morning and four hungry UPEI students are ready to eat cornbread. They are taste testers high-protein cornbread being developed by the school's foods and nutrition program.

The testers are trying high-protein variations of cornbread, developed to help seniors with their nutrition.

Bush Dumville to P.E.I. MLAs: Join me as an Independent

Bush Dumville says when it comes to Independent MLAs on Prince Edward Island, the more the merrier. He said he'd welcome any MLA who wants to join him, and is offering to help any Islander who wants to run as an Independent in the next election.

Bush Dumville, 73, was elected to the Prince Edward Island legislature as a member of the Liberal Party in 2007, 2011 and 2015. He resigned from the caucus in January and now sits as an Independent.

Brad Gushue is the skip for Team Canada at the world curling championships in Las Vegas. Brett Gallant is the team's second.
