Iqaluit band The Jerry Cans made their debut at the Juno Awards this year with a performance of their song "Ukiuq" off of their nominated album, Inuusiq. While they didn't take home any awards — they were nominated for two: contemporary roots album of the year and breakthrough group of the year — their performance was still a highlight of the main broadcast.
